Custom Camera
We have built a bespoke camera, perfect for capturing moments for your lapses. There’s no longer any need for a tripod or fixed camera! Just align the camera against your last frame and carry on.
Image Overlay / Onion Skin
Once you have captured your very first moment image, it forms the basis for your Lapse. This first moment is then used as a semi-transparent overlay to help you align all additional moments. Swipe from left to right in order to increase/decrease the opacity of the overlay.
Continuous Capture
With Lapse you can instantly capture multiple moments in succession This is great if you want to align frames for something like a stop motion animation.

Moments Gallery
Every lapse in your collection has a moment gallery to quick view your individual moments and your lapse as a whole. We’ve included a great scrubber to allow you to preview your Lapse frame by frame, just like the Photos app on iPhone.
Custom Speed / Images Per Second
Different Lapses feel natural at varying speeds. Use the images per second adjustment to ensure play speed matches your Lapse content.

Lapse Styles
Selfie
Lapse can be used to capture a series of selfies, which can show you with different hair styles or in various new places on holiday. All of this is achieved by clicking "switch" from within the camera.
Moving Landscapes
If you are away on holiday, you often come across amazing landscapes. Use Lapse to move through these lanscapes in a variety of ways, from simple standing shots, to walk though and rotation effects.
Engaging Closeups
Take something which looks awesome by itself (e.g. food, drink) and combine it with even more awesome shots to make a super engaging closeup movie.
Visual Diaries
Showing progress is super important, but often difficult. Make it simple with Lapse and show your baby bump, garden, hair style, weight loss over time. Seeing progress is the key to even greater progress!
Stop Motion
Bring an object you love to life by using the image overlay to show movement around the scene. Capture an image of the object, move, then use the overlay to re-align, repeat. To make this even easier, use the continuous capture mode to capture one after the other.

We have made Lapse compatible with all of your favourite Apple features.
iCloud Backup
We’d hate for you to lose all of your hard work. For that reason we’ve integrated with iCloud. It’s super easy to enable and keeps your Lapses in sync across all of your devices.
3D Touch
Lapse gets the best out of Apple's 3D touch feature by allowing you to quick preview your moments as you build your lapse. Additionally, 3D touch the Lapse app icon to quickly add a new lapse.
